I went from a Wearable Art hand-painted business (Ophelia Wearable Art) on Etsy in 2010 to listing my more recent paintings of New England, the area where I live. Over 20 years ago, I was a pastel painter in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and exhibited in numerous juried shows throughout the tri county area. For close to 30 years, beginning at age 19, I painted and exhibited in the vibrant local art scene available at the time. I showed in Chadds Ford, Pa (Wyeth country) all the way up and through the Main Line to Philadelphia, engaging in specialty exhibits benefiting various schools (special needs..), societies (historical..), art programs (Yellow Springs..) and much, much more. I have moved through various styles and subject matter since my arrival in New England, and have now returned to subject matter I am fully familiar with and have grown to appreciate, admire and wish to be challenged by.

I also paint wildlife and do "Petscapes" (on commission), but my main focus at this time is expressive, representationalist and abstract paintings of land, sea and sky in this wonderful area we simply call NEW ENGLAND.
